Netflix's South Korean original series, "Squid Game," directed and written by Hwang Dong-hyuk, captivated audiences worldwide. The story follows a group of desperate individuals from the fringes of society, all in dire need of money, who receive a mysterious invitation to participate in a series of traditional Korean children's games. The ultimate prize is a staggering 45.6 billion Korean Won, but the cost of losing is death. With its vivid characterizations, profound exploration of human nature, and intense visual impact, "Squid Game" became a global sensation, marking Netflix's first most-watched non-English original series.
The Pop! Television line introduces six distinct figures from the series: "Player 456 Seong Gi-hun," "Player 218 Cho Sang-woo," "Player 001 Oh Il-nam," "Player 067 Kang Sae-byeok," "Player 199 Ali," and the "O-Masked Guard." Each figure is sculpted in the characters' iconic green contestant uniforms, faithfully recreating their unique hairstyles and features. Fans will appreciate the intricate details, such as Seong Gi-hun holding the Dalgona candy or Kang Sae-byeok wearing her glass bridge vest. The O-Masked Guard, of course, sports the distinctive circular mask.
