MEDICOM TOY's popular 6-inch action figure line, MAFEX, has been steadily releasing characters from DC Comics' acclaimed series "Batman: Hush," including Batman, Superman, Catwoman, and The Joker. Now, the renowned Japanese toy company has announced its latest addition from the comic: the new "Huntress" figure, slated for an August 2022 release.
Standing approximately 15 cm tall, this figure faithfully recreates Huntress's costume design as depicted by Korean-American comic master Jim Lee in "Batman: Hush." The striking black and white bodysuit, complemented by light purple gear and distinctive blue-purple bat-shaped eye mask, gauntlets, and boots, creates a rich, layered aesthetic. With a full range of articulation, collectors can pose her in dynamic, action-packed stances, further enhanced by the natural drape of her fabric cape, making for an overall impressive presentation! The figure includes two interchangeable head sculpts: a standard expression and an angry, gritted-teeth face. Accessories feature her signature staff and multiple interchangeable hand parts. A minor personal observation: it's a slight shame the staff doesn't feature the detailed markings on its head as seen in the comic, appearing instead as a simple white rod.
