GOOD SMILE COMPANY's "POP UP PARADE" series, known for its affordable prices and rapid releases, is expanding its lineup from the popular anime "Gurren Lagann." Following the releases of Kamina and Simon, the third entry, the "POP UP PARADE Yoko" non-scale PVC painted figure, is set to arrive! It will retail for 3,900 JPY and is scheduled for release in February 2022.
The robot anime "Gurren Lagann" is set in a fictional future where the surface of the Earth is dominated by Beastmen piloting colossal "Gunmen" mechs. Humanity is forced to live in cramped underground villages, struggling with food shortages, limited space, and the constant fear of their homes collapsing from earthquakes. Simon, a young boy skilled in excavation, unearths a mysterious, glowing spiral crystal. This discovery leads him, along with his "big bro" Kamina and Yoko, to the surface, where they vow to reclaim their freedom and embark on an epic battle to bring humanity back to the world above!
The "POP UP PARADE Yoko" non-scale PVC painted figure stands approximately 17 cm tall, bringing to life Team Dai-Gurren's premier sniper and fan-favorite heroine, Yoko. Her fiery physique and iconic, revealing outfit are faithfully captured, showcasing her ample chest and shapely back. The figure features a dynamic pose, with Yoko turning to look back over her shoulder, her signature ponytail dramatically swaying as if caught in a breeze. Intricate details like her goggles perched on her head and the studded belt around her waist are meticulously reproduced, with varied paint applications used to differentiate the textures of each material. The overall design perfectly balances both her cute and sexy appeal!
