Good Smile Company's POP UP PARADE series, known for its affordable price point and rapid release schedule, is set to launch its second figure from the popular anime "KILL la KILL." Following the release of the Mako Mankanshoku figure, fans can now look forward to the POP UP PARADE Ryuko Matoi non-scale PVC pre-painted figure. It will be priced at 3,900 JPY and is slated for a March 2022 release.
Ryuko Matoi, the fiery protagonist of "KILL la KILL," transfers to Honnoji Academy, ruled by the Kiryuin Zaibatsu, in search of her father's killer. Despite her rough demeanor and strong-willed personality, she possesses a gentle and delicate heart. After moving in with her best friend Mako Mankanshoku's family, she genuinely comes to see them as her own. Wielding one half of the powerful oversized Scissor Blade, she can activate "Fiber Lost" with her Kamui Senketsu, transforming the blade into a massive katana to sever her opponents' Life Fibers.
The POP UP PARADE Ryuko Matoi non-scale PVC pre-painted figure stands approximately 17 cm tall. She's depicted in her black and red Kamui Senketsu, a sailor uniform made from Life Fibers, showcasing her slender waist and fair legs. The figure faithfully recreates her signature red hair streak and fierce expression. Her left hand sports the red transformation glove, and her sleeves are casually rolled up as is her custom. Coupled with her Scissor Blade, the entire piece exudes her unmistakable personality!
