Following the release of Galo Thymos, Max Factory's popular "figma" action figure series today announced the upcoming release of the other protagonist from the hit anime film "Promare," Lio Fotia, slated for August 2022.
The "figma Lio Fotia" figure, depicting the leader of the flame-wielding Burnish from the film, has been fully supervised by character designer Shigeto Koyama and animation studio TRIGGER. It faithfully recreates Lio's slender physique and the unique light and shadow color blocks on his hair and outfit. This striking design is combined with figma's original joint parts for flexible articulation, with soft plastic used in key areas to minimize articulation interference.
Accessories include three interchangeable face plates—a "serious expression," a "shouting expression," and a "smirking expression"—along with multiple hand parts. He also comes with Burnish Flames and a Burnish Sword, allowing for a variety of dynamic combat poses. Additionally, a cool "crossed arms part" is included to recreate the iconic, dignified stance often seen in TRIGGER productions, a direct inheritance from GAINAX's legacy!
