The "LEGO Super Mario" series, a collaborative effort between LEGO and Nintendo that emphasizes a blend of virtual and physical play, recently unveiled three new Luigi's Mansion-themed products starring Luigi himself! These sets, numbered 71397, 71399, and 71401, are slated for release in January 2022.
All three of these new sets, inspired by the "Luigi's Mansion" video game, are Expansion Sets designed to be fully enjoyed with the "71387 LEGO Luigi Starter Course." Set 71397 notably includes the Poltergust, an essential tool for Luigi's ghost-hunting adventures, which enhances the visual experience of the Luigi figure to match the game. The scenes depicted include Professor E. Gadd's lab and a haunted mansion, featuring numerous interactive mechanisms. Brick-built characters and figures include King Boo, a Garbage Can Ghost, Luigi's loyal ghost dog Polterpup, and Professor E. Gadd, among others.
