Beloved and collected by many "Saint Seiya" fans, the "Saint Cloth Myth EX" series from BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division is set to release a REVIVAL Ver. of the Gold Saint Gemini Kanon. This highly anticipated figure is scheduled for release in May 2022.
In the original story, Kanon is the twin brother of Gemini Saga, but due to the greater evil in his heart, he was initially imprisoned in the Cape Sounion prison. Kanon later became the Marina General Sea Dragon, planning to use Poseidon's power to achieve his own ambitions, though ultimately failing. In the Hades Chapter, he turned over a new leaf, and after passing Scorpio Milo's trial, he officially inherited the Gemini Gold Cloth. Kanon then showcased his formidable strength, repeatedly saving Seiya and his companions. In the climax of the Hades Chapter, he perished alongside Rhadamanthys, one of the three Specters of Hades.
This REVIVAL Ver. of Gemini Kanon essentially recreates the essence of the original Gemini Gold Saint Saga, but features an entirely new head sculpt. It also includes interchangeable hair parts and a rich selection of five interchangeable facial expressions, allowing for dynamic poses. Additionally, the figure comes with four pairs of interchangeable hand parts, a flowing cape, and effect parts to recreate his signature move, the "Galaxian Explosion." Overall, the set is incredibly comprehensive.
