Hong Kong-based toy manufacturer Hot Toys yesterday (10th) announced a new 1/4 scale collectible figure of Batman from Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Trilogy"! It is expected to ship in Q2-Q3 2023.
Standing approximately 47 cm tall, this figure boasts 32 points of articulation. The larger 1/4 scale allows for an incredibly realistic reproduction of the intricate details on Batman's armored Batsuit, enhanced by the sharp metallic texture of the utility belt and the natural drape of the fabric cape, bringing the entire piece to life. It includes two masked head sculpts and one unmasked "Bruce Wayne" head sculpt, capturing the likeness of actor Christian Bale. One masked head features Hot Toys' signature rolling eyeball system, while the other incorporates an LED light-up function to replicate the Bat-Sonar Lenses. Additionally, three interchangeable lower face plates are included for dynamic display options.
Weapon accessories include a flight pack, an LED light-up EMP Rifle, a transformable sticky bomb gun, a grapnel gun, three alloy Batarangs, and bombs. Also included are two sets each of ultrasonic cutters and radiation detectors, which can be attached to the utility belt. The display base is equally impressive, featuring a massive eagle head relief on one side and luxurious sculpted reliefs of three iconic villains – Ra's al Ghul, The Joker, and Bane – on the other! As an added bonus, this Batman figure also comes with a half-bust stand for displaying the interchangeable head sculpts.
▼ The special edition will also include an additional Batman cowl accessory.
