Following the "Asuka" and "Mari" figures from the "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time" series, SEGA PRIZE, a brand under the Japanese game company SEGA, is set to release a new "Asuka ~Last Mission Activate Color~" figure with a vibrant electroplated finish within their SPM (Super Premium Figure) line! This prize figure is slated for a Spring 2022 debut.
The "Deep Dive Suit" (or Anti-Pressure Deep Dive Prototype Plugsuit), which first appeared in "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time," was specifically designed for the final battle and worn by both Asuka and Mari. Its primary color scheme is white, accented with iridescent highlights and individual red and pink lines that reflect their personal imagery. True to its name, the suit's key feature is its ability to help the wearer adapt to extreme pressure changes. Fans affectionately refer to it as the "White Plugsuit," while Asuka herself jokingly called it a "shroud" in the film.
For this new "SPM Asuka Shikinami Langley ~Last Mission Activate Color~" figure, the plugsuit has been meticulously recreated with a stunning electroplated finish, even more accurately capturing the suit's brilliant sheen as seen in the movie. Furthermore, a companion "SPM Mari Makinami Illustrious ~Last Mission Activate Color~" figure from the same series is also planned for a later release.
