Following a flurry of recent set reveals, LEGO officially unveiled its latest Creator Expert Modular Building, the "10297 Boutique Hotel," last night (December 6th)! This highly anticipated set is slated for release on January 1, 2022.
The LEGO Modular Buildings series, affectionately known as "Modulars" by fans, began in 2007 with the release of the "10182 Café Corner." This new "10297 Boutique Hotel" serves as a sincere tribute to the series' 15th anniversary. Comprising 3066 pieces, the set masterfully integrates a corner design into a luxurious European hotel, offering dynamic display possibilities for your LEGO city street. The building's aesthetic is defined by a harmonious main palette of light grass green, light brown, and pink, beautifully accented with striking blue and red details.
This intricate set invites LEGO enthusiasts to explore detailed guest rooms, a penthouse suite, a grand lobby, charming balconies, elegant staircases, and an adjacent art gallery. Beyond constructing LEGO models of essentials like large beds, bathrooms, and wardrobes, fans will be thrilled by the lobby's vintage telephone, key cabinet, and intricate floor tiling. The set comes with 7 minifigures, with the bellhop in a green hotel uniform being a particular standout. Imagine countless scenarios with the included luggage cart and the delightful outdoor coffee cart!
