BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division, known for its diverse 1/144 scale Gunpla lineup, recently announced the latest addition to the "HG (High Grade)" series: the "HG 1/144 White Rider." This new kit, hailing from the game "Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy," is slated for release in February 2022.
The RX-80WR White Rider, Prototype Unit 1 of the "Pale Rider Project," previously only existing in textual lore, finally receives its complete design in the new "Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy" game. Key features of this mobile suit include its crown-shaped communication antenna on the head, the "ZEUS System" (a prototype of the "HADES System"), and the large composite ranged weapon "Prototype Shekinah," equipped with massive heat sinks.
The "HG 1/144 White Rider" kit faithfully recreates the mobile suit's distinctive head, arms, torso, and backpack with numerous new parts and accurate molding colors. Its specialized armaments, including the "Prototype Shekinah" and "Heat Rapier," are also included. The Prototype Shekinah can be transformed between its normal state and its Mega Beam Cannon firing mode with deployed heat sinks by swapping parts. The kit also comes with two types of stickers to differentiate the eyes and various vents between its normal state and when the ZEUS System is activated.
