Japanese figure manufacturer Max Factory today (13th) announced their latest product from the popular video game "Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout"—the "Ryza (Reisalin Stout) 1/6th Scale Figure," slated for release in December 2022.
Reisalin Stout is an ordinary girl with an extraordinary physique. She possesses a free-spirited personality, a strong sense of justice, and an unwavering resolve when it comes to what she believes is right. Driven by curiosity, Ryza constantly seeks out new experiences, feeling uneasy about a mundane life, and often gathers with her childhood friends to discuss their dreams. One day, Ryza finally decides to pursue excitement, devising a plan to explore beyond her village, which unexpectedly kicks off an extraordinary adventure. Utilizing alchemy to craft various tools and overcome challenges on her journey, Ryza gradually blossoms into a full-fledged alchemist.
Max Factory's "Ryza (Reisalin Stout) 1/6th Scale Figure" is based on the cover art from the special edition art book of the first game, "Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout." This 1/6th scale piece faithfully recreates Ryza and her secret hideout scene as drawn by artist TORIDAMONO.
The Ryza figure herself captures her in a sitting pose, preparing to put on her boots, while flashing an innocent smile at a bird perched on her shoulder. This pose beautifully emphasizes Ryza's signature voluptuous curves, with delicate paintwork meticulously rendering the gradients of her hair and the subtle interplay of light and shadow on her clothing and skin. Her yellow jacket is designed to be removable, allowing collectors to admire even more of her detailed muscle definition underneath.
The diorama base is intricately sculpted with wooden planks resting on the ground, weathered stone wall ruins, moss clinging to the walls, and branches sprouting from the cracks, all vividly showcasing the lush, vibrant natural scenery of Kurken Island.
