Animal-themed capsule toys are always a huge hit in the hobby world, and among them, cat capsule toys are an undeniable perennial favorite! However, Japanese toy brand T-ARTS, a subsidiary of TAKARA TOMY, is set to release its new "Monster Cat Collection" (怪物猫だらけ) this December, and while undeniably cute, these figures pack a seriously shocking punch!
This collection reimagines classic Western horror protagonists like Dracula, ghosts, and tarantulas as adorable felines. Each figure, approximately 4.5 cm tall, meticulously captures the cats' fur texture and their iconic monster costumes. The lineup features three distinct designs, each with two color variations, totaling six unique figures: "Dracula Cat" (ドラキュラキャット), "Tarantula Cat" (タランチュラキャット), and "Ghost Cat" (ゴーストキャット). The Dracula Cat, with its fangs bared and cape flowing, is incredibly charming, while the Ghost Cat might remind collectors of Kitana Club's earlier Blanket Cat series, making them perfect for collecting multiples.
