Following the release of the VF-31AX Kairos Plus (Hayate Immelmann Custom), BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS is set to launch the highly anticipated DX Chogokin "VF-31AX Kairos Plus (Hayate Immelmann Custom) Super Parts Set" in May 2022.
The new VF-31AX Kairos Plus, which debuted in "Macross Delta the Movie: Absolute LIVE!!!!!!", is an emergency modification based on the VF-31A Kairos. It utilizes spare parts from the VF-31 Siegfried series to replace the Siegfried units that were moderately damaged after battle. This advanced Valkyrie features a large Fold Quartz Gunpod and an all-around display system, boasting significant enhancements in overall performance and equipment.
The "VF-31AX Kairos Plus (Hayate Immelmann Custom) Super Parts Set" has been completely redesigned to complement the new unit. It features numerous new parts to create the large thrusters, additional armor, and chest missile pods, among other enhanced equipment. By combining this set with the separately sold VF-31AX Kairos Plus (Hayate Immelmann Custom), collectors can recreate the formidable "Super Kairos" form. The large thrusters attached to the main wings feature articulated joints for dynamic posing, and the chest missile pods include a deployment gimmick, allowing fans to display the detailed missiles within.
