Hong Kong-based toy manufacturer Hot Toys recently announced their latest "Fennec Shand" 1/6 scale collectible figure, based on the character from "The Book of Boba Fett," the spin-off series from "The Mandalorian"! The figure is expected to ship in Q2-Q3 2023.
"The Book of Boba Fett" premiered exclusively on Disney+ on December 29, 2021. The series follows Boba Fett and his partner Fennec Shand as they return to Tatooine, once controlled by Jabba the Hutt, and attempt to seize control of the territory after eliminating the usurper Bib Fortuna. This new collectible stands approximately 28 cm (11 inches) tall and features 28 points of articulation. It meticulously recreates Fennec's black suit, accented with orange details, along with the controllers on her right chest and waist. Removing the belt reveals faithfully reproduced tubing and mechanical details.
The head sculpt captures the likeness of actress Ming-Na Wen, complete with her signature long braid from the series, which features an embedded wire for dynamic posing. The figure also includes helmet and mask parts for enhanced display options. Weapon accessories consist of a rifle, a pistol, bottles in a net bag, a cloth pouch, three coins, and multiple interchangeable hands.
