GOOD SMILE COMPANY's popular Nendoroid series recently announced new figures from the hit game "Among Us," with the "Crewmate Red/Blue/Black" lineup slated for a September 2022 release.
Exploding in popularity in 2020, "Among Us" is a multiplayer online game developed by Innersloth. Players take on the roles of either Crewmates or Impostors aboard a spaceship, engaging in a thrilling game of deception and wits. Crewmates are tasked with completing various mini-missions and identifying the Impostor to vote them off, while Impostors must covertly sabotage, create chaos, and eliminate Crewmates without being discovered. Its simple, fast-paced gameplay makes it incredibly easy to pick up and play.
These Nendoroids bring the suspicious Crewmates to life in an adorable 10cm tall size. While they don't feature interchangeable face plates like typical Nendoroids, they can recreate those iconic "shushing" or "suspicious" poses – arguably more sinister than any facial expression – with the included "pointing finger" hand. Plus, a "red sparkling sticker" is included to signify the Impostor. For a truly gruesome display, you can even split the figure in half and insert the "bone" accessory to depict a brutally murdered Crewmate!
