Following the releases of "Piccolo Daimao," "Piccolo Daimao Ver.B," and "Piccolo Daimao Ver.C," Japanese company PLEX is once again expanding its popular "Dragon Ball Arise" series, based on the hit anime "Dragon Ball." The latest addition is the highly anticipated "Cymbal Normal Edition / Special Edition" PVC pre-painted figure, one of the subordinates spawned by Piccolo Daimao. The figure is priced at 19,800 JPY and is currently available for pre-order at Premium Bandai (PB) and Maru P (マルピー商店) in Japan, with an estimated release in June 2022.
Piccolo Daimao, who first appeared as a villain in "Dragon Ball," is a green-skinned alien from Planet Namek. He is the embodiment of Kami's evil thoughts, sharing a body with Kami, and sought to conquer Earth. He was sealed in an electric rice cooker by Master Roshi's teacher using the Evil Containment Wave. After Piccolo Daimao wished for his youth to be restored by Shenron, he spawned several subordinates, including Cymbal (シンバル), who was tasked with collecting the Dragon Balls. Cymbal ultimately met his end when he was sliced in half by Yajirobe.
The "Dragon Ball Arise Cymbal" pre-painted figure stands approximately 25 cm tall, faithfully capturing Cymbal's dragon-like physique and distinctive green skin. The figure meticulously recreates the reptilian scale patterns on his skin, along with the horns on his head, wings on his back, and sharp claws. His tail alone measures an impressive 29 cm, and his facial expression perfectly blends humor with malevolence. The figure is available in two color versions: Normal and Special.
