Bandai's GASHAPON division, known for its "GashaPortraits" series featuring popular female anime characters, is once again diving into the world of "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time." Following popular releases like the "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time Special SET," "Special SET 02," and "Special SET 03," they are now launching the upgraded "GashaPortraits PREMIUM Evangelion Suzuhara Sakura." This new collection will feature two distinct styles and is slated for release in May 2022.
The "GashaPortraits PREMIUM Evangelion Suzuhara Sakura" capsule toy figures mark the first official Gashapon appearance of Suzuhara Sakura, Toji Suzuhara's younger sister, who made her formal debut in the "Rebuild of Evangelion" film series. Unlike the standard GashaPortraits line, these PREMIUM figures boast more luxurious coloring and larger dimensions, meticulously capturing two different looks for Sakura.
The collection includes Suzuhara Sakura A, featuring a matte finish and a cheerful smile paired with a youthful pose. The other figure, Suzuhara Sakura B, showcases gradient translucent hair and a hat, exuding a more professional aura. Both figures come with their own dedicated display bases.
