Kotobukiya, the Japanese model kit manufacturer, today announced the upcoming release of its latest product, the "L.O.Z. [LORD OF ZOATEX]," for its highly customizable original model kit series, "HEXAGEAR." The kit is slated for a June 2022 release.
The L.O.Z. serves as the successor unit to the Lord Impulse, developed by the Liberty Alliance. Incorporating artificial muscle technology and cutting-edge weaponry, it boasts unparalleled mobility and destructive power compared to contemporary units. This makes it the culmination of beast-type HEXAGEAR, earning it the moniker "LORD OF ZOATEX."
The "HEXAGEAR L.O.Z. [LORD OF ZOATEX]" features a new frame designed to replicate artificial muscle aesthetics while maintaining an extensive range of articulation. Its neck's artificial muscle components utilize a sliding mechanism, complemented by scapula-structured joints and a multi-jointed tail. These features allow for dynamic poses that closely mimic feline movements. The kit also includes two different head sculpts, enabling builders to create varying head-to-body proportions as desired.
Its arsenal includes the CROSS LASER FANG (large blade in the mouth), EMPEROR BITE (jaw), Tactical High-Energy Laser (shoulder laser cannon), TRICK BLADE (tail), JUDGMENT・RAM (tail end), and PLASMA CLAW (claws), all equipped across its body. The non-physical shield, "HDICS," which deploys from both sides of its body, is recreated with clear parts.
