BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division's TAMASHII NATIONS, known for its "GUNDAM UNIVERSE" 6-inch action figure line designed for Gundam fans worldwide, today announced the latest wave of products: the Sazabi, Master Gundam, and Shenlong Gundam, all slated for release in May 2022.
The "GUNDAM UNIVERSE" series utilizes the globally popular 6-inch scale, packing impressive armor details, paintwork, and articulation into its 15-16 cm figures. Each figure boasts sharp lines from every angle and features robust joint designs, making them highly poseable and fun to handle. While accessories are relatively minimal, this is reflected in the accessible price point, with each figure currently retailing for just 3,300 JPY (tax included).
・MSN-04 Sazabi
Following Amuro's ν Gundam, it's now Char Aznable's turn! The popular Sazabi from the movie "Char's Counterattack" joins the lineup. Its design faithfully recreates the suit's imposing, heavy red armor, Char's personal emblem printed on the skirt armor, numerous thrusters hidden beneath the plating, and the detachable **Funnel** weapon system on its back. With its large Beam Tomahawk and Beam Shot Rifle, collectors can recreate the fated showdown against the separately sold ν Gundam!
・GF13-001NHII Master Gundam
From "Mobile Fighter G Gundam," **Master Asia's** iconic **Master Gundam** makes its debut. Its dark body perfectly captures the distinctive large head, red wings, and muscular armor lines across its frame. The left hand can be swapped out to pose the figure unleashing the **Darkness Finger**, allowing fans to recreate the classic master-disciple battle with the separately sold God Gundam!
・XXXG-01S Shenlong Gundam
Among the five Gundam pilots of "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing," the fan-favorite Wufei finally gets his beloved machine, the Shenlong Gundam (which he famously nicknamed "Nataku"), in the GUNDAM UNIVERSE series. The figure utilizes sharp armor lines and vibrant colors to faithfully reproduce its TV anime appearance. In addition to its **Beam Glaive** weapon, the right arm features a transformation gimmick, allowing collectors to recreate its signature **Dragon Fang** without needing to swap parts.
