High-end Japanese statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio yesterday (12th) unveiled their latest release from the sci-fi epic "Dune": the "Paul Atreides Stillsuit Edition" 1/4 scale Premium Masterline statue, available as a bonus version. Shipping is slated for January–March 2023.
Standing approximately 53 cm tall, this piece captures Paul in a commanding pose amidst the desolate Arrakis desert. His forward gaze subtly conveys a sense of uncertainty about his future. The facial sculpt meticulously recreates actor Timothée Chalamet's melancholic aura, with his wavy short hair intricately sculpted. The Fremen stillsuit is rendered with an abundance of wrinkles, intricate details, and layered textures. Collectors can also freely equip or remove the fabric cape and backpack. Furthermore, the inclusion of an attachable face mask and Filt-Plug for the head sculpt significantly enhances the display versatility of this statue.
Additional accessories include the Atreides family Combat Knife, a belt with its sheath, and the Fremen Crysknife, famously crafted from a sandworm's tooth. The bonus version exclusively features a gun and an interchangeable right hand part!
