"I've been on standby in the vegetable basket!" Bandai's Gashapon division previously launched a series of capsule toys based on the "Machibouke" (Waiting in Vain) theme, combining animals and vegetables. Following the initial "Waiting Vegetables" release, they are now set to launch "Machibouke: Waiting Vegetables Part 2" (まちぼうけ 野菜の場合 その2) in the fourth week of January 2022!
This second installment in the "Waiting Vegetables" series once again captures familiar vegetables in a pose of patiently waiting in a corner, each imbued with a subtle sense of lonely melancholy. As Katsura Kotaro from "Gintama" famously quipped in one episode, "I'm always on standby..." Placing these anthropomorphic vegetables in a corner makes them even more lively and amusing!
This capsule toy collection features five types of vegetables: broccoli, bell pepper, leek, cherry radish, and cabbage. Each figure stands approximately 4cm tall and is incredibly expressive and cute! They are also perfect for decorating an office desk!
