Japanese toy giant MEDICOM TOY, in collaboration with CCP Co., Ltd., is expanding its "Evangelion" lineup. Following the highly detailed "Ultra Detail Figure" (UDF) series' initial EVA-01 release and Angel (Polished Coating Ver.), they are now set to unveil the highly anticipated "CCP × UDF EVA New Chapter Opening" collection. This new wave introduces three iconic figures, including EVA-01 and EVA-00 from the legendary Operation Yashima, alongside Lilith! Each figure will retail for 2,640 JPY and is scheduled for release in September 2022.
CCP, renowned for its expertise in crafting high-quality statues, has lent its sculpting prowess to this series. This collaboration further elevates the UDF line, which already boasts intricate detailing and a collector-friendly compact size. The "CCP × UDF EVA New Chapter Opening" collection draws inspiration from the pivotal "Operation Yashima" battle featured in "Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone." These figures vividly recreate the thrilling moment where EVA-00 provides crucial cover with the ESV Shield as EVA-01 unleashes the devastating Positron Cannon!
