Following its popular Marvel releases of Venom and Carnage, Japanese toy manufacturer Sentinel is turning its attention to the DC Universe for its "sofbinal" line of large-scale, high-detail vinyl figures. The next powerhouse character to get the sofbinal treatment is none other than Batman, with the reveal of the new "Batman Hard Black Ver."! The figure is scheduled for a July 2022 release.
Standing at an imposing 35cm (approx. 13.8 inches) tall, this figure boasts a powerful presence. Sculpted by the renowned Keiji Iwakura, this release injects a strong, stylized design into the iconic DC hero. The sculpt features intensely defined lines and wrinkles across Batman's musculature, form-fitting Batsuit, and black cape. A shadow-effect paint application further enhances the three-dimensional feel, making every detail pop. The dynamic pose, with swinging arms and a striding left leg, radiates a visual tension that feels like it's about to explode with power! The head sculpt is also meticulously detailed, with a ferocious expression formed by the rich muscle textures, creating a truly fierce vision of the Dark Knight.
