Good Smile Company, the Japanese manufacturer behind the immensely popular "Nendoroid" series with over a thousand unique figures, is finally releasing the "Nendoroid Bojji & Kage" action figure from the hit anime "Ranking of Kings"! This highly anticipated collectible is priced at 6,600 JPY and is slated for release in November 2022.
Authored by Sōsuke Tōka, the manga "Ranking of Kings" (王様ランキング) has garnered critical acclaim, including the Tsutaya Comic Award 2019 and "Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2020," thanks to its charming art style and profound exploration of human nature. The story follows the deaf and powerless Prince "Bojji" (ボッジ), who is initially deemed unfit to inherit the throne. However, his unwavering strength and refusal to give up inspire Kage (カゲ), a survivor of the Shadow Clan, who then assists Bojji on his journey to become the world's greatest king.
The "Nendoroid Bojji & Kage" action figure stands approximately 10 cm tall, faithfully recreating Bojji's adorable appearance from the anime, complete with his iconic dark blue outfit and crown! The figure comes with three interchangeable face plates: a confident "Standard Face," a cheerful "Smiling Face" with closed eyes, and a tearful "Crying Face." His loyal companion Kage also features two expressions: a "Standard Face" and a "Blushing Face." Additionally, the set includes various interchangeable hand parts and a "Sword" accessory, allowing fans to recreate numerous memorable scenes from the series.
