From Bandai's Gashapon division comes the latest in the fan-favorite "EXCEED MODEL" Gundam capsule toy series. Following a lineup of popular mobile suit head displays and the recent SD Z'Gok, the line is now set to release a new super-deformed version of the classic "ZAKU"! This new capsule toy series is scheduled to launch in the first week of February 2022.
The Zaku is arguably the most iconic mass-produced mobile suit, a design instantly recognizable to any fan. Developed and deployed by the Principality of Zeon during the One Year War in "Mobile Suit Gundam," its incredible versatility made it the most successful mass-production MS of the conflict. Ace pilots often distinguished their personal units with custom paint schemes, such as the famous red Zaku belonging to Char Aznable, the "Red Comet," as well as the signature colors of aces like Johnny Ridden, "The Crimson Lightning," and Shin Matsunaga.
This EXCEED MODEL SD Zaku continues the series' signature spherical concept. The parts for the limbs are cleverly stored inside the shell, which forms the lower body. Simply unbox and assemble the pieces to complete the figure. Standing at approximately 8.3 cm tall, the Zaku has an adorably stubby and chunky appearance that Zaku fans won't be able to resist. The lineup includes three different versions:
1. Char's Custom Zaku
2. Mass Production Type Zaku
3. Zaku (Desert Color Ver.)
