FREEing, the Japanese figure manufacturer known for its exquisite 1/4 scale character figures in the "B-Style" series, recently announced the production of its latest entry from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY": the "Meer Campbell Bunny Ver. 1/4 Scale Figure," following the release of the Lacus Clyne Bunny Ver..
After the previous great war, P.L.A.N.T. diva Lacus Clyne and her father's Klein Faction defected from ZAFT. However, a young girl named Meer Campbell, bearing an identical resemblance to Lacus, appeared within the nation. Originally a fan of Lacus, Meer was chosen by Chairman Gilbert Durandal, who had her undergo plastic surgery and trained her to be Lacus's double. She performed for the public to garner support, a lively and innocent Meer becoming a political puppet. Though she achieved her dream appearance, she ultimately died in place of the idol she admired.
Currently, only a product silhouette has been released for the "Meer Campbell Bunny Ver. 1/4 Scale Figure." The sculpt is expected to feature the same kneeling pose as the Lacus figure. This cute yet sexy bunny girl outfit will boast a substantial size of approximately 30 cm in height, and it's highly anticipated that the fishnet stockings will be made from real fabric. Given how "enhanced" the previous Lacus figure's proportions were, collectors are curious to see how Meer, who naturally has a more modest physique than Lacus, will be depicted.
