Kaiyodo, the Japanese model manufacturer, showcased the painted prototype of their latest "EVANGELION EUROII・HEURTEBISE" from "Evangelion ANIMA" at yesterday's Wonder Festival 2022 [Winter] event. This new entry joins their popular "EVANGELION EVOLUTION" action figure series, which utilizes their proprietary Revoltech joint system. The figure is slated for release in Winter 2022.
The silver-white "EVANGELION EUROII・HEURTEBISE" originates from the novel "Evangelion ANIMA." This EVA unit was developed by NERV Germany, modified and built from the discarded chassis of Unit-02. It features a "QR Signum" power source on each shoulder and is equipped with an "Allegorical Wing" flight unit on its back. Its arsenal includes a longsword and the ability to remotely deploy an AT Field from its tip. The unit's pilot is Hikari Horaki, formerly Shinji and his classmates' representative, who was brainwashed by the EU forces.
As with previous entries in the EVANGELION EVOLUTION line, the latest "EVANGELION EUROII・HEURTEBISE" prototype was sculpted by the renowned artist Katsuhisa Yamaguchi. Fans can anticipate not only its enhanced mechanical design details but also the highly flexible articulation system throughout the figure.
