Following the release of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes line's 76191 Infinity Gauntlet, LEGO is now bringing another iconic artifact to life with the official reveal of set number 76209, Thor's Hammer! It's slated for release on March 1, 2022.
Comprising 979 pieces, this LEGO Thor's Hammer set, once assembled, stands at an impressive 46 cm (approx. 18 inches) tall, making for a truly commanding and awesome display piece! Its exterior utilizes a generous amount of flat tiles and curved elements to smooth out the traditional LEGO studs, giving it a sophisticated, adult collector's appeal. What's even cooler is that beyond its exquisite design, LEGO has included a hidden compartment inside Thor's Hammer, housing miniature accessories: the "Infinity Gauntlet," "Tesseract," and "Odin's Fire." Collectors can also choose to display these three small accessories alongside the included Thor minifigure.
While the set beautifully captures the hammer's iconic shape, some collectors might wish for even more intricate surface texture detailing to truly complete the look.
