LEGO's "Star Wars" theme recently dropped three exciting new helmet models: the "75327 Luke Skywalker™ (Red Five) Helmet," the "75328 The Mandalorian™ Helmet," and the "75343 Dark Trooper™ Helmet"! All three are set for release on March 1, 2022.
This adult-oriented LEGO Helmet Collection boasts excellent display potential and strong thematic appeal. Each new model uses approximately 500-600 pieces to recreate the iconic character helmets, standing around 18-19 centimeters tall once assembled. Among these three new additions, our personal favorite is the Luke Skywalker (Red Five) design. Not only is it highly detailed and vibrantly colored, but the orange visor, rendered with transparent elements, is particularly captivating! The red and yellow stripe accents and the Alliance Starbird emblem further enhance the layered look of this predominantly white model.
The Mandalorian and Dark Trooper helmets also achieve impressive accuracy. The Mandalorian's T-visor and the Dark Trooper's mouth grille are precisely outlined using various parts. However, both helmets feature a noticeably studded texture on their crowns. This might come down to personal preference for collectors – we tend to favor designs that use curved elements to smooth out the studs, which also helps reduce dust accumulation!
