Hot on the heels of the epic first trailer for "Jurassic World Dominion," which unites both new and returning cast members, LEGO has officially revealed new additions to its "Jurassic World" lineup. We're here to dive into the details of the "76956 T. rex Breakout" set, directly inspired by the classic 1993 film "Jurassic Park."
Comprising 1,212 pieces, this set builds into an impressive display piece, measuring nearly 60 cm long and approximately 15 cm high. It meticulously recreates the iconic scene from the film where the T. rex breaches the malfunctioning high-voltage electric fence and attacks the tour vehicles. Fans will appreciate the faithful details, including the twisted electric fence, the damaged tour vehicle track, and the crushed vehicle under the T. rex's mighty foot. Adding to its collector appeal, LEGO has also included a sleek black display base adorned with both the LEGO and "Jurassic Park" logos, significantly elevating its presentation. It truly makes for an awesome display!
The set includes four crucial minifigures: Dr. Alan Grant, Dr. Ian Malcolm, Lex Murphy, and Tim Murphy. What's fantastic is that both Grant and Malcolm feature full-body wet-look printing, perfectly capturing the heavy rain from that memorable moment. Lex and Tim, originally seated in the front tour vehicle, also boast mud-splatter printing, adding an incredible touch of realism! As for lawyer Donald Gennaro, who famously abandoned the kids to hide in the restroom, he's humorously omitted from this set! The T. rex itself is brick-built and features articulated legs, tail, and limbs, allowing for dynamic posing. We're incredibly excited for this set!
