After earlier leaks online, official images have finally been revealed for LEGO's latest Star Wars theme set, "75326 Boba Fett’s Throne Room." It's slated for release on March 1, 2022. Let's take a closer look!
At the end of "The Mandalorian" Season 2, Boba Fett and his partner Fennec Shand returned to Tatooine, a planet formerly controlled by Jabba the Hutt. They eliminated Bib Fortuna, Jabba's former majordomo who usurped power after Jabba's death. Boba Fett then declared himself Daimyo, aiming to rule the territory. This set is designed around that premise, recreating a scene from Jabba's former palace with numerous features and expanding mechanisms. From the official images, the tower on the right even includes a playable lift function. Pressing a mechanism next to the throne allows you to eject Bib Fortuna and install Boba Fett as the new ruler.
The set includes a total of 7 minifigures: Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, Bib Fortuna, a pink-haired Theelin dancer, a Quarren with four squid-like tentacles on his chin, a Gamorrean Guard (affectionately known as 'pig guards' by fans), and a wrinkled-skinned Weequay Guard. Honestly, only one Gamorrean Guard feels a bit stingy – you really need two for the full effect!
