Following the release of the 10272 Old Trafford and 10284 Camp Nou sets, LEGO's Creator Expert line is back with another football stadium masterpiece. This time, it's the turn of Real Madrid, Barcelona's fierce rival! The "10299 Real Madrid – Santiago Bernabéu Stadium" is set to launch on March 1, 2022.
This impressive set comprises 5,876 pieces, and once assembled, measures 44 × 38 × 14 cm, faithfully recreating the magnificent stadium located in Madrid, Spain. In addition to the series' signature gray baseplate, the stadium's exterior primarily features white, gray, and sand-colored bricks. The corner towers on all four sides are meticulously detailed, and the "Realmadrid" lettering on the roof stands out prominently. Inside the stadium, the stands boast a vibrant orange and blue color scheme, capturing intricate details like the grass pitch, goals, tunnels, spectator seating, and scoreboards.
Since Real Madrid's jerseys are supplied by the renowned sports brand Adidas, collectors will also spot the Adidas sponsor logo on the white roof! The overall construction is similar to previous football stadium sets, where the pitch and stands are built separately before being combined. However, the unique architectural elements promise an engaging and varied building experience. Outside the stadium, LEGO has even included a team bus and tiny, micro-scale trees lining the sidewalks. Real Madrid fans, it's time to make your move!
