Japanese figure manufacturer Sentinel has officially unveiled the latest addition to its popular RIOBOT alloy action figure series: Blaster Tekkaman Blade from the classic anime "Tekkaman Blade."
The newly revealed Blaster Blade is the formidable second form concealed within the Tekkaman bio-weapon's transformation system, designed to counter unforeseen threats. This evolution dramatically boosts the user's power, speed, and overall capabilities. However, the transformation boasts only a 50% success rate, and even if successful, the immense cellular damage inflicted upon the user results in a drastically shortened lifespan. For D-BOY, whose Tekkaman transformation was incomplete, the damage is localized to his brain, causing him to lose portions of his memory with each Blaster transformation.
The "RIOBOT Blaster Tekkaman Blade" meticulously recreates the sharp, angular design of its outer armor using ABS parts, complemented by strategic use of die-cast alloy components for a premium feel. Its highly articulated frame incorporates numerous pull-out joint mechanisms, enabling a wide range of dynamic poses from the anime, especially when wielding its signature lance.
Furthermore, the backpack thrusters can be displayed in their expanded state using interchangeable parts. Both shoulder and arm armor feature clever sliding mechanisms, revealing the metallic green Voltekka emitters underneath—perfect for recreating the iconic stance as Blaster Blade unleashes his most devastating attack, the "Super Voltekka"!
