BANDAI SPIRITS' prize figure brand BANPRESTO, known for its releases based on the new "Shaman King" anime, previously brought us figures of Yoh Asakura, Anna Kyoyama, Hao, and Yoh Asakura in his Over Soul form. Now, they've recently unveiled the latest character to join the lineup: the iconic and often dramatic Tao Ren!
Crafted based on his appearance in the new anime, this Tao Ren figure perfectly captures his signature spiky chestnut hair and the dazzling gold suit jacket he wears upon his initial introduction. Combined with his piercing, intense gaze and the pose holding his Bason spear, he exudes an intimidating aura! The figure accurately reproduces the unique body proportions seen in "Shaman King." From the official images, the jacket's metallic sheen looks incredibly premium, though the Bason spear appears to have a slightly plastic feel. Hopefully, this series will continue to expand with characters like Horohoro, Ryu of the Wooden Sword, Chocolove, Manta, and more!
