Japanese model kit manufacturer Kotobukiya recently announced the upcoming release of its latest product, the EVR-M01 M-JET-N, from the new "EVOROIDS" model kit series aimed at younger builders, slated for October 2022.

The "EVOROIDS" series is a brand-new robot model kit line designed for ages 8 and up. It brings together mechanical designer Kunio Okawara, manga artist Koichi Tokita, and toy design/planning company ASTRAYS, carrying on the legacy of the 1980s "OMOROID" toy series, which both Okawara and Tokita also worked on. The featured mecha boast a low-proportioned design and are significantly easier to assemble than previous Kotobukiya products. Each unit can transform into two distinct forms.

The newly announced EVR-M01 M-JET-N is a mass-production variant of the EVR-01A JET-N. Its appearance and structural design are largely identical, with the only two differences being the armor's molded color, which is now blue, and the head's camera changing from a dual-eye setup to a visor-style design.

The core frame of the unit is also composed of numerous simple and practical 3mm joint parts. Assembly is straightforward once the armor parts are attached, and it can fully transform from its robot mode into a fighter jet mode. Furthermore, it boasts Kotobukiya's signature high level of parts interchangeability. Utilizing a plethora of 3mm universal pegs and connection parts, it can be customized with other Kotobukiya model kit series such as M.S.G (Modeling Support Goods), Frame Arms, HEXA GEAR, and more, allowing builders to add more impressive weaponry or even rebuild it into entirely unique custom mecha!
