Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys today (the 13th) announced their latest release from "Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back," the Luke Skywalker (Bespin) 1/6th scale collectible figure! Both a standard version and a deluxe version will be released simultaneously. This article focuses on the DX25 Deluxe Version, which is expected to ship in Q3–Q4 2023.
Even before completing his training with Yoda, Luke Skywalker journeyed from Dagobah to Bespin's Cloud City to rescue his friends, where he engaged in a deadly duel with Darth Vader! Luke's apricot-colored flight suit has become one of his most iconic looks. The Luke Skywalker (Bespin) Deluxe Version includes all the contents of the standard edition, plus an intriguing additional accessory: a Darth Vader helmet encasing a terrified Luke Skywalker head sculpt. Paired with a Dagobah swamp-themed diorama base, collectors can recreate the classic "Dark Side Cave" scene during his Force training, fully capturing the fear Luke harbored at that moment.
