Chinese toy manufacturer Rocket Toys (ROC), officially licensed by Pierrot China, is set to release the third entry in their "Naruto Shippuden" 1/6 scale articulated figure line: "Uchiha Madara"! This highly anticipated release follows their previous figures of "Uchiha Itachi" and "Kakashi Hatake". Pre-orders are now open, with an estimated shipping date in the first quarter of 2023.
Uchiha Madara, once the formidable leader of the Uchiha clan, was known for his cruel and belligerent nature. Possessing the "Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan," he was hailed as the strongest ninja during the Warring States period. He co-founded the Hidden Leaf Village (Konohagakure) with the First Hokage, "Hashirama Senju," but the deep-seated rivalry between their clans and their conflicting ideologies ultimately led to a fierce battle. Following his defeat, Madara resolved to implement the "Eye of the Moon Plan," a pivotal moment that led to the formation of the Akatsuki.
The previous announcement of its commercialization had already generated significant buzz, and today (the 14th), ROC finally unveiled the official release details for the "Uchiha Madara" 1/6 scale articulated figure. Standing approximately 33 cm tall, the figure features a fully articulated body, meticulously crafted with a blend of fabric, alloy, PVC, and ABS materials to faithfully reproduce his iconic red armor. Intricate details like the black long hair covering his right eye and his prominent eye bags are delicately rendered. The inclusion of articulated eyes greatly enhances posing possibilities and display enjoyment! It comes with a serious head sculpt, along with interchangeable evil grin and angry expressions. These can be paired with various eye options, including the black Three-Tomoe Sharingan, black Mangekyo Sharingan, and Rinnegan, allowing collectors to create a wide range of dynamic expressions.
The costume accessories include a skirt armor with embedded metal wire, an upper garment and pants printed with the Uchiha clan crest, and bandages, among other intricate details. Furthermore, the figure boasts a rich selection of 12 interchangeable hand parts, including veined hands and various expressive gestures. These can be combined with oversized accessories like a formidable scythe and a massive Gunbai (war fan) connected by a chain (total length exceeding 30 cm), allowing collectors to dynamically recreate various exciting actions and scenes from the series!
