threezero Reveals FigZero 1/6 ULTRAMAN SUIT TARO (Anime Version) with Intense Flame Effects

Coinciding with the premiere of season two of the hit anime "ULTRAMAN" on Netflix, Hong Kong-based toy brand threezero has officially unveiled the latest entry in its 1/6 scale articulated figure line, FigZero: the 1/6 ULTRAMAN SUIT TARO (Anime Version). The figure is scheduled for release in December 2022.

The ULTRAMAN SUIT TARO is a suit of powered armor created by the alien Yapool for Kotaro Higashi, based on the original Ultraman Taro. In the series, Kotaro, a photographer working in New York, gains superhuman powers after taking a mysterious drug. He resolves to become a superhero to protect others, but after a tragic accident claims his best friend, he awakens a latent power known as "Flame Mode." This advanced armor not only allows Kotaro to stabilize his abilities but also helps him suppress the uncontrollable power of his Flame Mode.

The FigZero 1/6 ULTRAMAN SUIT TARO (Anime Version) continues the high standards of the series, standing at an impressive 31cm (approx. 12.2 inches) tall in 1/6 scale and featuring over 52 points of articulation. The sleek armor is constructed using a mix of ABS, PVC, and die-cast zinc alloy, finished with a high-gloss metallic paint to give it a heavy, substantial feel. The chest houses an LED light-up feature to illuminate the Color Timer.

Accessories include the suit's deployment device, which resembles the original "Ultra Badge" transformation item, and numerous flame effect parts to display his "Flame Mode" abilities. By swapping out parts on the backpack and chest vents, fans can recreate the dynamic look of flames erupting from the suit as he prepares to unleash his signature finishing move, the "Ultra Dynamite"!
