Childhood sweethearts are always the cutest! Japanese entertainment giant FuRyu Corporation (フリュー株式会社), through its high-quality PVC figure brand F:NEX, is set to release a 1/7 scale figure of Takagi-san, the beloved heroine from the popular romance manga and anime series "Teasing Master Takagi-san." This stunning figure features Takagi-san in a beautiful Sakura Wasou (Cherry Blossom Kimono) outfit and is slated for a November 2022 release.

"Teasing Master Takagi-san" (からかい上手の高木さん) is a manga series created by Soichiro Yamamoto. It began serialization in 2013 as a supplementary booklet in Shogakukan's "Monthly Shonen Sunday" (ゲッサン). The first anime adaptation premiered in 2018, with the series now having aired three seasons. The story follows the heartwarming and often humorous daily interactions between middle school classmates Nishikata and Takagi, alongside the lives of their friends.
The heroine, Takagi-san (full name undisclosed), is Nishikata's classmate. Sitting next to him, she constantly devises playful schemes to tease and fluster the earnest Nishikata. Beneath her mischievous exterior, she is a clever and perceptive beauty who enjoys Nishikata's innocence, often using her teasing as a way to get closer to him. In a later timeline, she and Nishikata have a daughter, Chi, who also frequently finds herself at the receiving end of Takagi's playful antics.
This F:NEX figure showcases a softer side of Takagi-san. She is depicted in a traditional Japanese kimono, featuring a vibrant gradient of cherry blossom pink and pale yellow. The intricate cherry blossom patterns, both large and small, evoke a strong sense of springtime. This elegant attire, combined with Takagi's gentle smile, further accentuates her fair skin and graceful demeanor. It's a truly captivating piece that collectors will want to add to their display.
