LEGO's highly detailed Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) line yesterday unveiled a new addition from "Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope": the "75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder"! It's slated for release on May 4, 2022, also known as Star Wars Day.

Among the many iconic vehicles in the Star Wars saga, the X-34 Landspeeder stands out as a classic and popular ground-based transport. In "A New Hope," Luke Skywalker famously piloted the landspeeder across the desert wastes in search of Obi-Wan Kenobi. He later used it to travel to Mos Eisley Cantina with Obi-Wan, who was then going by the alias "Ben." Landspeeders are a common mode of transport across Tatooine's desert regions, typically hovering about one meter above the ground.

This set comprises 1,890 pieces. Once assembled, it measures approximately 49 cm long and 30 cm wide. It faithfully recreates the X-34 Landspeeder's iconic orange-red hull, gray piping, turbine engine casings, and elegantly curved windshield. The cockpit meticulously details the seats, dashboard, and steering wheel. A particularly captivating highlight is the exposed mechanical structure, revealed by the missing engine cover panels! The set includes minifigures of Luke Skywalker and a newly designed C-3PO. For display, a nameplate stand allows you to pose the landspeeder as if it's hovering in mid-air. This is an absolute must-have!
