Following the releases of God Gravion and Sol Σ Gravion, MECHA SMILE's "MODEROID" model kit series is back with its third entry from the *Choujuushin Gravion* anime: the "God Σ Gravion," slated for release in February 2023.
The core unit of God Σ Gravion, the "Gravion Sigma," is piloted by the enigmatic billionaire Klein Sandman. His true identity is that of an alien who, during the war between the planets Celius and Lambias, built the Gravion Sigma in an attempt to improve the environment. However, his efforts were in vain as his adopted brother's "Genocide" system went berserk, leading to the destruction of both planets, a tragedy Sandman couldn't prevent despite his desperate attempts.
Sandman subsequently came to Earth, converting his G-Factor into a permanent metabolic function that granted him immortality. He temporarily sealed the Gravion Sigma in a lunar base, deliberately leaving its damaged left eye unrepaired as a constant reminder of his homeworld's catastrophe. It wasn't until the final battle that Sandman unleashed his G-Factor and piloted the Gravion Sigma once more, combining with the Gran Divas to form "God Σ Gravion" for combat. Compared to God Gravion, God Σ Gravion can wield nearly identical power and techniques, differing mainly in color scheme, and requires only Sandman as its pilot.
The completed "MODEROID God Σ Gravion" kit includes the core unit, "Gravion Sigma," along with its four Gran Divas: "G-Shadow," "G-Driller," "G-Striker," and "G-Attacker." Following the style of the previous two releases, Mr. Tan (GOD BRAVE STUDIO) handled the sculpting, ensuring each unit boasts intricate, cool detailing and features a transformation and combination gimmick that utilizes some interchangeable parts.
The core unit, "Gravion Sigma," offers both impressive articulation and its combination mechanism. For enhanced playability after combination, non-transforming body parts can be swapped in. The kit also includes the massive Graviton Lancer weapon and purple beam effect parts. By combining it with the separately sold God Gravion and Sol Σ Gravion, fans can recreate the ultimate, most formidable combination from the final episode: "Ultimate Gravion"! As an added bonus, the kit also comes with the "Gravion Dangaiken," a dream weapon that never appeared in the series!
Orders for "MODEROID God Σ Gravion" placed through the "GOODSMILE Online Shop" will also receive the exclusive bonus "Balmung" sword, which Gravion Sigma can equip!
