Japanese company Prime 1 Studio is set to release a stunning 1/4 scale statue of Andromeda Shun, one of the five main Bronze Saints from the classic anime series "Saint Seiya," as part of their popular "Ultimate Premium Masterline" statue line. The highly anticipated collectible is scheduled for release between July and October 2023.
Andromeda Shun, the Bronze Saint of Andromeda, is depicted in the original series as a gentle and somewhat frail young man who dislikes conflict. Though he initially drew the lot to train on Death Queen Island, his older brother Ikki bravely took his place. Shun instead trained on Andromeda Island, successfully passing his master's trial to earn the Andromeda Cloth and master techniques like the Nebula Stream. While often protected by Ikki in dire situations, Shun consistently demonstrates incredible resolve and unleashes his hidden power to defeat opponents when it matters most.
The "Ultimate Premium Masterline" series is renowned for its exceptional accuracy and detail, and this 1/4 scale Andromeda Shun is no exception. Standing at an imposing 57cm tall, the statue commands a powerful presence. It faithfully recreates Shun in his Final Bronze Cloth, captured in the dynamic pose of unleashing his iconic Nebula Chain attack. The rock-themed base is meticulously sculpted, and a grand nebula, symbolizing Andromeda, forms the backdrop. This nebula also features built-in light-up elements, adding an extra layer of dramatic flair.
This particular release is a Bonus Version, which includes an additional head sculpt beyond the two standard expression options. This bonus head features a classic anime-style expression, offering collectors a distinct aesthetic to display.
