GOOD SMILE COMPANY, a leading Japanese manufacturer, is expanding its affordable pre-painted figure series, "POP UP PARADE," with the addition of the immensely popular Hololive 3rd Generation VTuber, Houshou Marine, from the "hololive production" group! This PVC figure is set to retail for 5,500 Yen and is scheduled for release in September 2022.
As a member of hololive 3rd Generation (hololive Fantasy), Houshou Marine's backstory states she is a girl who loves jewels, treasures, and money, aspiring to become a pirate to seek out riches. To save up for her own pirate ship and set sail, she currently works as a VTuber on land. Her everyday actions and speech often reveal a deep knowledge of otaku culture, leading fans to frequently question and joke about her official age of 17.
The "POP UP PARADE Houshou Marine" PVC figure stands approximately 170mm tall, meticulously recreating the captain's charming pose in both sculpt and color. Beyond her captivating expression, her hand-to-hair gesture further accentuates her alluring armpit and chest lines. Details like her captain's hat and belt feature metallic paintwork, while her flowing coat adds a dynamic sense of movement to the sculpt.
