Bandai's popular capsule toy division, GASHAPON, is set to release a new series of capsule toys in the fifth week of April 2022, inspired by the recently released Crayon Shin-chan film, "Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Mononoke Ninja Chinpūden"!
The theatrical film "Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Mononoke Ninja Chinpūden" (クレヨンしんちゃん もののけニンジャ珍風伝), directed by Masakazu Hashimoto and co-written by Kimiko Ueno and Hashimoto, is a special commemorative work celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Crayon Shin-chan movie series. Released on April 22, 2022, the film's narrative draws inspiration from the original manga's "The Day Shin-chan Was Born" chapter, blending it with classic plot elements from previous theatrical releases.
This capsule toy series reimagines the beloved members of the Kasukabe Defense Force—Shin-chan, Nene, Kazama, Masao, and Boo—all decked out in ninja attire. Each of the five characters dons a vibrant and beautifully designed ninja outfit, striking dynamic poses as if ready to unleash their ninja techniques. They are incredibly adorable and a must-have capsule toy set for any Crayon Shin-chan fan.
