LEGO has been steadily revealing its second-half 2022 releases across various lines. This article focuses on the "76216 Iron Man Armoury" from Marvel Studios' "Infinity Saga," slated for release on June 1, 2022.
Following the popular 76125 and 76167 sets, LEGO returns to the Iron Man theme with another armoury-style playset, the 76216. This set comprises 496 pieces and features eight modular armour pods designed to house Iron Man suits. These pods can be arranged horizontally in a single row or stacked in a 2x4 double-layer configuration. Additional elements include a movable robotic arm with wheels, a workbench loaded with equipment and accessories, a suit-up station, and a white sports car carrying a "Stark Expo" map. The minifigure lineup is impressive, featuring Tony Stark, Pepper Potts, Nick Fury, War Machine, the villain Whiplash, and three Iron Man suits: Mark 3, Mark 25, and Mark 85. The silver Whiplash Mark 2, complete with blue chains, looks incredibly cool! Fans will also be excited about the included holographic projection parts.
