Following the release announcement for Hashirama Senju, the God of Shinobi, we're taking a look back at an earlier release from the Ultimate Diorama Statue (UDS) series: the "Uchiha Madara —Kekkei Genkai, Rinnegan: Susano’o" 1/8 scale diorama statue from "Naruto Shippuden," which debuted in Q1 2022. For collectors who might have missed it, here's a closer look!
Once the leader of the Uchiha clan, Madara Uchiha was a cruel and battle-hungry shinobi, wielding the "Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan" and renowned as the strongest ninja during the Warring States period. He co-founded the Hidden Leaf Village with the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju, but their clashing ideologies and the rivalry between their clans ultimately led to a fierce battle. After his defeat, Madara resolved to execute the "Eye of the Moon Plan," leading to the formation of the Akatsuki.
Released by the officially licensed Chinese collectible statue brand HEX Collectibles, this "Uchiha Madara —Kekkei Genkai, Rinnegan: Susano’o" 1/8 scale diorama statue is limited to just 1,000 pieces worldwide. It captures the electrifying moment during the Fourth Great Ninja War when Madara Uchiha, resurrected by Edo Tensei, confronts Hashirama Senju once more, unable to suppress his excitement for battle. Standing approximately 58 cm tall, the statue features Madara in a dynamic crouching pose, poised for action, with the colossal, fully manifested Susano'o towering behind him, crafted from translucent blue chakra effects, creating an incredibly powerful presence!
Madara's flowing red armor and long black hair covering his right eye are meticulously sculpted, as is his massive Gunbai fan. The dust and cracks on his face, a result of the Edo Tensei resurrection, are faithfully recreated, and his sinister grin perfectly captures Madara's wild and brutal nature. The base itself is designed with effect parts depicting the absorption of Hashirama's Wood Release Secret Technique: Deep Forest Emergence, complete with shattered rocks and chakra flames, recreating an intense battle scene.
The massive, fully manifested Susano'o stands tall on the base behind him, crafted from translucent blue effect parts, with its colossal arms, wings, and sword-wielding hands intricately layered. The statue also includes two alternate head sculpts.
