From BANDAI SPIRITS' BANPRESTO prize figure brand, the large-scale "MEGA WCF" series, which brings numerous anime and manga characters to life in adorable Q-style, is set to release a new "Thousand Sunny SPECIAL!! GOLD COLOR" figure from "One Piece" in September 2022!
The Thousand Sunny is the second pirate ship of the Straw Hat Pirates, designed by the shipwright Franky. Beyond its eye-catching lion figurehead, it boasts the "Soldier Dock System" to handle various situations and the "Coup de Burst" emergency escape system, which defies the common sense of pirate ships. Constructed from the legendary Adam Wood and crafted by master shipwrights like Franky, Iceburg, and Paulie, the Thousand Sunny possesses incredible durability, capable of sailing to any corner of the world! The lion figurehead, capable of displaying different expressions, is also a delightful highlight.
First appearing as a MEGA WCF figure in 2018, the Thousand Sunny is making a spectacular return with an all-new paint application! The size is expected to remain around 19 cm. This figure faithfully recreates the Thousand Sunny's distinctive figurehead, the sail emblazoned with the Straw Hat Pirates' Jolly Roger, the crow's nest, and the Coup de Burst nozzle at the stern, all rendered in the series' unique Q-style proportions. However, the most exciting feature is undoubtedly the beautiful, glossy pearlescent finish across the entire ship! Even the base is presented in a golden yellow, making this a definite must-have for collectors!
