Following the release of Anya Forger from the massively popular anime "SPY×FAMILY," BANDAI SPIRITS' collector division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has officially unveiled the dashing dad and beautiful mom, "S.H.Figuarts Loid Forger" and "Yor Forger," for their S.H.Figuarts action figure series. Both figures are scheduled for release in November-December 2022.
Created by Japanese manga artist Tatsuya Endo, the hit comedy manga "SPY×FAMILY" is set in a tumultuous era where the East and West nations are embroiled in a fierce intelligence war. To execute the top-secret mission "Operation Strix," master spy Loid Forger, codenamed "Twilight," forms a makeshift family with professional assassin Yor and the psychic girl Anya, formerly known as "Subject 007." For their own individual objectives, the trio lives together, concealing their true identities, embarking on a family comedy that is both fabricated and surprisingly heartfelt.
The "S.H.Figuarts Loid Forger" action figure meticulously captures the handsome father's iconic yellow hair and his elegant, dark green suit complete with a red tie. Beyond a standard neutral expression, the figure includes four additional interchangeable face plates: a gentle, harmless smile, a squinting smile, a fierce battle scream, and a bewildered expression (likely reacting to Anya or Yor's unpredictable antics). Coupled with full body articulation, interchangeable gloved and ungloved hand parts, and a pistol accessory, fans can recreate a multitude of dynamic scenes showcasing the Forger family's efforts to maintain their picture-perfect public image.
