GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series, "POP UP PARADE," is bringing back the five sisters from "The Quintessential Quintuplets" with updated 1.5 ver. designs, coinciding with "The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie" release. The "POP UP PARADE The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie Special Set" is slated for a December 2022 launch!
Written by Japanese manga artist Negi Haruba, "The Quintessential Quintuplets" (五等分の花嫁) follows academic prodigy Futaro Uesugi as he becomes the tutor for the Nakano quintuplets to pay off his family's debts. The story unfolds with his wedding to one of the sisters, flashing back to recount his journey with the five siblings. This narrative sparked widespread "guess the bride" discussions among readers, fueling lively competition between different fan factions.
The entangled relationships of the six characters in "The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie" are set to explode during the school festival! The film premiered in Japan on May 20, 2022.
Inspired by "The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie," all five sisters are making their debut as a special set: "POP UP PARADE Ichika Nakano 1.5," "POP UP PARADE Nino Nakano 1.5," "POP UP PARADE Miku Nakano 1.5," "POP UP PARADE Yotsuba Nakano 1.5," and "POP UP PARADE Itsuki Nakano 1.5"! Compared to their previous versions, each figure boasts more vibrant paintwork and subtle sculpt changes. Their faces have been refined to appear rounder and cuter, and Nino even sports her iconic short hair! This complete set comes in specially designed packaging, making it an even more valuable collectible.
